El día de hoy 14 de mayo de 2022 se ha llevado a cabo la reunión del Movimiento de Pueblos, Comunidades y Organizaciones Indígenas, Movimiento Nacional MPCOI MN en la sede del MULT en la Ciudad de México. El MPCOI MN es un movimiento social en resistencia con presencia en 16 estados de la república mexicana que lucha por la defensa de la cultura e identidad de los pueblos originarios.

Tenemos un gobierno que te escucha, te atiende pero no te resuelve.

En esta reunión, donde estuvieron presentes sus aliados la ANUEE y el MNU, el MPCOI habló de diversas cuestiones entre las que se encuentran el replantearse desde qué tipo de organización es el MPCOI MN, pasando por las formas en cómo constituirlo y qué tipo de alianzas hacer con otras organizaciones afines y el para qué hacerlas.

El MPCOI MN como organismo de masas, establece su política de respeto a los conciudadanos de todas las organizaciones porque es una organización cultural y social, no electoral.

La primera tarea de una organización es acumular fuerzas.

Una de sus voces pugnaba por atender lo propio, reafirmar sus propias fuerzas, plantearse su crecimiento haciéndose responsables en ciertas áreas y construir responsabilidades con sus objetivos definidos ya que sino, se dijo, ‘habrá puros comandantes pero sin respaldos’. Tener un plan de acción, estructurar, rearticular el propio movimiento de manera inmediata. Para ello propusieron generar diversas comisiones las cuales a su vez, generen documentos sistematizados de los procesos que se viven en cada estado en donde el MPCOI MN está presente y una vez hecho esto, les alumbrará el camino hacia donde avanzar.

¿Que el pueblo de México quiere la guerra? No lo sé, pero sí sé que el pueblo de México vive en la guerra.

Informaron que de momento la mayoría de alianzas que se tienen son tácticas, es decir, para lo inmediato. Agregaron que necesitan convertir esas alianzas en lo estratégico (mediano y largo plazo) y que al menos converjan en uno o dos puntos. Las nuevas alianzas, señalaron, se deben definir en función de los objetivos particulares y generales que establezca el nuevo documento a generar.

Dicen por ahí que el pueblo no puede vivir sólo con la dignidad pero un pueblo con dignidad nunca va a vivir arrodillado.

Otro de los compañeros mencionaba que construir no es fácil, que destruir sí, que el movimiento está vivo pero está desarticulado; que para crecer deben reconocerse los errores ya cometidos y a partir de ahí construir. En ese sentido reconocieron que los objetivos del movimiento entre los que están abasto, alimentación, salud, soberanía, cultura, derechos humanos no se han cumplido, que tras la pandemia no han logrado construir más allá que la sobrevivencia del mismo MPCOI MN en cada estado y que eso ya es decir.

La reunión que dio oportunidad a cada compañero de exponer la situación en su comunidad, dar propuestas reflexionar sobre la situación del movimiento, duró prácticamente un día hábil. Quienes dirigieron la reunión concluyeron esperando darle seguimiento a cada uno de los puntos para que esto no se quede sólo en lo hablado.

Algunas de las actividades que el MPCOI MN tiene contempladas y para las cuales extiende invitación a las organizaciones aliadas son:

  • Del 1ro al 14 de agosto se llevarán a cabo los tradicionales talleres indígenas y caravanas donde se pugna que el MPCOI MN no sólo lucha por la repartición de fertilizantes, sino también por la defensa de la vida, del territorio, la libertad de presos políticos.
  • El 10 octubre se celebran 41 años del MULT que, debido a la pandemia, no había celebrado aniversarios por dos años. La celebración se hará en Oaxaca y habrá diversas movilizaciones en diversos estados incluso en territorio en los Estados Unidos.
  • Se planteó celebrar el 12 de octubre desde la resistencia por 500 años de los pueblos que sobrevivieron al poder de dominio de los españoles. A partir de ahí buscar hacer una acción conjunta en otros estados con el mismo objetivo.
  • El 21 de febrero se planean realizar actividades por el riesgo permanente que existe de extinción de lenguas indígenas.
  • El objetivo conjunto que se tiene con la ANUEE y el MNU de acompañarlos en sus marchas los días 11 de cada mes.
  • Se llamó a hacer un posicionamiento más enérgico sobre el atentado que sufrió el compañero del MULT asesinado recientemente.
  • También se planteó un conversatorio donde el MPCOI MN podrá dar a conocer ampliamente sus problemáticas, sus luchas y sus demandas.
